Mini Star Hoppers (under 10s)
Whatever the British weather brings, we are ready to whisk off our miniature sky explorers on a jam-packed space adventure! We’ll have a short space talk, a quiz and a lot of fun activities, including stargazing, weather permitting! Plan A is to be outside in the field using telescopes and binoculars to see the Moon, stars and planets. If our plot is foiled by thick cloud cover, we will retreat inside and explore the heavens digitally and do fun, interactive space-themed activities. Each session is themed, so see individual listings for specific planned activities.

Star Hop (Over 10s)
Join Dr Sarah Crick, Jordan Mansfield and their team for a night of astronomy greatness! You will be treated to an entertaining astronomy talk delivered by Sarah on a hot topic in the space sector, then dazzled by the night sky by Jordan from NOVA Stargazing. There’s always quizzes (with out-of-this-world prizes), chocolate cake and space activities, and if the sky is clear, or even partially clear, you’ll use our HUGE telescopes to look at our Moon, Solar System planets, galaxies, star clusters and nebulae close up. See individual events for planned activities.
