Academic Tutor, Astronomy Educator, mother and space-fanatic. I founded Mission Astro to teach children of all ages the infinite and astronomical wonders of space.
A First Class Honours in Physics, Astrophysics and Cosmology wasn't enough to feed my appetite for space academia. So, after graduating from The University of Cambridge with a PhD in Astronomy, I knew I wanted to pass this knowledge on to our next generations. To satiate them in the same way the knowledge did for me.
If you love space, you're always hungry for new knowledge.
When you're fascinated by space, there's no limit to new knowledge. There is always something to discover.
You may think we know an awful lot about space. But there's so much to yet be unveiled.
By teaching children up and down the country about space through online courses, interactive workshops and insightful talks, we're preparing our children to make discoveries we can only dream of.
Teaching on earth prepares the human race for revelations on other planets.
During my time at the University of Cambridge, I worked at the Institute of Astronomy. It was there where realisation dawned: delivering my research through the Outreach Programme ignited a fuse inside me.
Contrary to popular belief, you don't need to become an astronaut to build a thriving and fulfilling career in the
space industry.
Passing on knowledge allows the world we inhabit to spark a new generation of people who are equipped, willing and ready to make strides out into the solar system.
Out of all of my missions: a Bachelors degree, a Masters, a PHD, countless research papers, launching Good Science - Mission Astro is one of my favourites.
