We have collaborated with Farrah Artwell, from ZenStrokes by Farrah, to create beautiful painting kits that are not like any other. Painting is a wonderful way to unwind and look at objects in more detail. Astronomy is fascinating and has the power to transport people to wondrous places and appreciate the natural phenomena in the universe. When the two combine; the result is magical. Our space painting kits have all the supplies you need to make an artistic masterpiece along with a QR code which takes you to an online astronomy session with Dr Sarah Crick to watch as you paint.

Our space painting kits are suitable for space lovers over the age of 9. Painting is an activity that can be enjoyed at all ages and is fun to do, even if you don’t believe that you are an artist! We have ensured that this kit is suitable for families to do together, and for home-schooling parents to use as part of their curriculum for their children and for space curious adults to enjoy as a relaxing activity. The instructions are thorough and you can even paint along with Farrah and Sarah on the video!

Farrah, the creative genius behind ZenStrokes, is known for her transformative acrylic paint experiences. She hosts tranquil ‘brunch and paint’ sessions in Hampshire and sells a collection of paint kits too so people can enjoy the act of painting at home. The paintings she creates for her students to try to recreate are aesthetically beautiful and just the right difficulty for everyone to complete comfortably. Her paintings inspired by astronomy for this collection are vibrant and full of wonder.
